The project
I wanted a portfolio I could update by editing a few JSON files, with no admin panel to maintain and no framework to keep updated.
The name at the top uses a variable typeface: the width of the letters follows your pointer. It’s the only flashy effect on the site; everything else makes room for the content.

- Content in JSON files, rendered server-side in PHP
- Italian and English versions, with matching addresses
- Light and dark theme that respects your system setting
- Page transitions with the View Transitions API, turned off when reduced motion is on
- Contact form with validation, image captcha, honeypot, signed token and rate limiting
- Sitemap generated from the content, structured data and social previews
